Summer Stage: Two Week Intensive Theatre Arts Camp

Music Doing Good offers Summer Camp at Kawai Piano Gallery

HOUSTON, TX (June 5, 2019) – The second annual Music Doing Good Summer Stage is now taking enrollment for a two-week intensive theatre arts camp beginning weekdays from July 29 through August 9, 8 am to 4 pm, 5800 Richmond Ave., 77057. Summer Stage focuses on acting techniques, music and movement, choreography, stage presence and vocal training for students ages 7-17. No previous theatre experience is necessary to participate. Early bird registration before July 1st is $350; $400 tuition if registered after July 1st. The staff is comprised of bachelor and masters degreed instructors, teaching artists, arts educators, and Texas certified music and theatre teachers. This program is led by Aisha Ussery, M.Ed. who has an extensive performance and education background. She has over 20 years as a working and teaching artist.

Music Doing Good is a nonprofit arts organization that inspires and transforms children’s lives through innovative, music-based programming and performance experiences. The outreach programs bring musical enrichment to children in Houston’s most disadvantaged communities. The programs use music to stimulate minds, spark creativity and ignite imagination.
